I know I have tried to make a component before and I just ended up creating a movieClip and I copy that movieClip all over...

Now, I need to create some components and I am needing some help... Nod

I know it's somewhat lame but here we go... I am asking this because most of the tutorials out there did not make much sense to me...

I was wondering if somebody can make me a simplest component you can think of and post the FLA file so that I can learn from it... It doesn't matter what it is... The simpler, the better... Wink

I might be able to do a simple Flash 6 component, but that's so outdated it probably wouldn't be much use to you bro.

Well, they have a whole new component model in Flash 7, so the Flash 6 model isn't used much anymore. I don't know if the Flash 8.5/Flex 2/AS 3 component model will be any different. It probably will. Yes, I agree: too many changes too quickly from MM!
